   This is a list of insect that I have observed hatching. The number, and type hatching depend upon, the flow, river section, and weather conditions. I post this list to help you be better prepared when traveling to the Upper Delaware.

   I update the posting on facebook directly from the river, that info may be a bit more current.

Upper Delaware River Insect Hatch Information.

Leucrocuta hebe - Sulphur size 18 - 20 Insect Info.

Acentrella turbida - Blue Winged Olive size 22 - 26 Insect Info.

Isonychia bicolor - Slate Drake size 8, 10, 12 Insect Info.

Neophylax oligius - Tan Caddis size 16 - 18 - 20 Insect Info.

Baetis tricaudatus - Blue Winged Olive 18 - 20 Insect Info.

Rhyacophila species - Green Sedge size 14 - 16 Insect Info.

Ceratopsyche - Spotted Sedge size 16 - 18 Insect Info.

(Look for Ceratopsyche from now until the end of September
Imprortant species include sparna, bronta, slossonae, morosa.)
